**Mr. Minuk is a Canadian Notary, not a US Notary, therefore, many states require a Consulate/Embassy to authenticate the signature. An authentication is the placing of the consular seal over the seal of a foreign authority whose seal or signature is on file with the United States Embassy or Consulate in order to verify the authenticity of the foreign seal or signature. The US Consulate General in Calgary has a sample of Mr. Minuk's signature and seal on file so the Consulate is able to authenticate his signature upon the notarized documents being mailed to their offices.
